Entrepreneurs seem to be getting younger and younger these days, at least that’s the sense you’ll get when reading the August/September 2009 issue of MyBusiness, the magazine we publish for the National Federation of Independent Business. We profiled several young entrepreneurs in their early 20s who started their businesses in high school—and it’s amazing to see where they are now.

Regular readers of MyBusiness will probably recognize the names and faces in our feature, “The Young Guns,” because they’re all former winners of NFIB’s Young Entrepreneur Awards and were featured in the magazine back when they were in high school. Speaking of award winners, in this issue we also feature the 2009 Young Entrepreneur Award winners, including Jay Shechtman, who was named the 2009 Visa/NFIB Young Entrepreneur of the Year. He and the other finalists are all destined for greatness, so don’t be surprised when you hear about them again in a few years.
Also in this issue we lift the veil on an onerous proposal out of Washington, D.C.—a cap and trade bill, which would put serious pressure on Americans’ already high energy bills. We’ve posted the issue over at mybusinessmag.com, so be sure to check it out.
